Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about the Tribenture walk in Barcelona.

What is Tribenture?
A self-guided walk through a real city. You follow a route on foot; when you reach a stop, a guide narrates what is in front of you, asks you one question, and the photos you take stay private to you.
Which city can I walk today?
Barcelona is opening first, in English, Spanish and Catalan. More cities follow as each one is walked and reviewed.
What do I need?
A phone with location switched on, headphones, and about 90 minutes on foot. The walk runs in your phone's browser; there is nothing to install from an app store.
Do I need internet during the walk?
You need a connection to start. The guide's text and audio for your route can be kept on the phone, so narration keeps working if you lose signal. Asking the guide a question needs a connection.
Can I ask the guide questions?
Yes. At any stop you can ask the guide about what you are looking at. It needs a connection to answer.
What happens to my photos and my location?
Photos you take during a walk are private to you and can be deleted at any time. Your location is used to tell when you have reached a stop. See the Privacy Notice for this website; the app has its own notice.
